Art & Music Expressive Art: The Brush & Beat Meet Sunday 10/4 @ 12pm Part of our Expressive Art Wellness Workshop series, our Art & Music workshop beautifully collides the healing power of art and music. As we continue to learn about the influence that music can have on our emotions, we are combining that with our emotional expression through art. In this workshop, you will learn intuitive drawing and painting through music. You will listen to music and allow the music to determine the mood of your art. You may discover that fast upbeat music leads you to using bright paint colors and quick short brush strokes. Or maybe a classical melody pulls you to a continuous line in only one color. Whatever the tune, you will learn to welcome your feelings on canvas. There are no rights or wrongs in this workshop. The goal is to explore and welcome the opportunity of healing, focus, peace and relaxation through the combination of art and music. Music variations will be provided as a class, but you are also welcome to bring your own ear buds and music to guide you.
