Clay Wheel Throwing Private Lessons Our Clay Wheel Throwing Private Lessons offer a personalized, hands-on introduction to the pottery wheel. Whether you're a total beginner or looking to refine your technique, this immersive experience is designed to meet you where you are. Benefits of Wheel Throwing: Reconnecting to the tactile world around us helps center us, slow us down for a bit, and take our minds off of the stress of our daily lives. Working with clay on the wheel allows our minds to rest, recharge, and find a little calmness. Additionally, tactile mediums such as clay are perfect for our neurodivergent friends who are seeking additional sensory engagement. What to Expect: Hands-On Experience: Learn how to center, shape, and form clay on the wheel with your own two hands. Expert Guidance: Our experienced instructor will guide you step-by-step, offering tips and techniques tailored to your skill level. Multiple Creations: You will have the option to create and keep multiple pieces or you can pick your favorites and smash the rest. All Skill Levels Welcome: No prior experience needed—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore. Our pottery instructors continue to increase in numbers, but we do have limited availability for this type of lesson. Request a date and we’ll check our calendar to confirm availability. $55 per lesson. Multi-Person Discount: Want to share the experience with a friend or partner? Cancellation Policy
When a private lesson is booked, the studio is setting aside an instructor for your one on one experience. While life happens and things come up, it is expected that the student will keep their appointment or notify the studio in a timely manner. If a student needs to cancel or change their appointment, we ask for at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations less than 24 hours notice will be charged a $10 cancellation or rescheduling fee. If a student is a no-show, no-contact, a No-Show fee of $25 will be automatically charged. We reserve the right to discontinue regular lessons with students who have 3 no-show fees on record. Emergency situations will be assessed on an individual basis.
