Teen Entrepreneurs: Building Business Skills Instructor: Alicia Holman Grades 8-12 Tuition: $45 monthly Supply Fee: $25 per semester Tuesdays 9:50 am August 26 - December 9th (No Class Oct 14 & Nov 25) Unleash your entrepreneurial spirit and discover the world of business ownership in this hands-on, dynamic course designed for teens. Teen Entrepreneurs: Building Business Skills offers a practical approach to understanding what it takes to start and run your own business, from concept to execution. Students will dive into the fundamentals of creating a business model, designing a business plan, and taking actionable steps to bring their vision to life. As part of the course, students will collaboratively plan and participate in a Kids Market, a vibrant marketplace where they can launch their businesses, interact with the community, and apply the skills they've learned in a real-world setting. This course focuses on fostering creativity, building confidence, and developing essential life skills such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of the class and the instructors' availability, make up classes for Deep Roots Learning Collective are not provided. If you miss a class, you are encouraged to reach out to your instructor for details on any missed work or assignments. If you wish to withdraw from a Deep Roots class prior to the end of the semester, we ask for 14 days written notice. No refunds (full or partial) are provided for missed classes or unused class time in the event of early withdrawal.
