The Watercolor Way Saturday, June 27th • 4:30pm Beginner & Intermediate Friendly Settle into a slow, coastal rhythm and explore the gentle art of watercolor in The Watercolor Way—a workshop designed to help you build confidence, develop technique, and create pieces that feel serene, expressive, and deeply personal. You’ll begin with basic drawing skills that make watercolor easier and more intentional—simple shapes, clean lines, and quick studies that help you understand form before you ever pick up your brush. From there, you’ll move into a series of mini subject studies inspired by the coast: ocean‑water textures, lighthouses, shells, crabs, lobsters, and other shoreline motifs. With guidance from your instructor, you’ll select one or two favorites to develop further, transforming your sketches into a more detailed watercolor piece. This workshop is all about layering skills—learning how to draw with clarity, paint with confidence, and build a composition that feels like a little escape. You’ll leave with: Several miniature watercolor studies The beginnings of a larger masterpiece you can continue at your own pace An ocean of knowledge of drawing and watercolor techniques you can use again and again A peaceful, creative coastal journey—perfect for beginners and those ready to deepen their watercolor practice. $35 per person | Advanced Registration Required
