What to expect in your lesson: Hands-On Experience: You will explore various techniques, tools, and skills used for hand building with clay including how to start from a slab or how to sculpt from a ball of clay. Guidance from Experts: Our experienced instructors will be on hand to guide you through each step of the process, offering tips and insights to help you bring your clay creation to life. Knowledge in Multi Step Processes: You will not only learn about the clay itself, but you will gain additional insight into the glazing processes and techniques when you return to glaze your pieces. Craft one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect your individual style and creativity. Request a Date: Ready to give it a try? You can request a lesson with one of our instructors. Flexible scheduling is available. When you select a date and time, we will check our calendar to ensure our availability. Note: After you create your clay pieces, you will leave them with us to dry and go through a bisque firing. Once they return from the kiln, we notify you that your pieces are ready to be glazed. You can come back in at your convenience (no appointment needed) and glaze the pieces you made. There is no additional fee for glazing when glazing pieces made in a private lesson. So it is like getting two lessons for the price of one! Cost: $45 per 1 hour lesson. We do provide a multi person discount applicable when more than one person wishes to share a lesson together.
